Malem: Deceit by Exaggerations Part 2

“Expensive Malem Bedwetting Alarm has Design Flaws  - Admitted by Hilal Malem”

Unsubstantiated Claim 4 - “The Child is 100% motivated and wants to be dry?”

Malem alarms are recommended for children 3 and over.
Is your 3 year old 100% motivated? This product will not deliver results if your child is any less motivated.

We have a simple no brainer question to ask Malem and the Bedwetting Store. How can the same cord size fit a child who is 3 years old and 16 years old? For a 3 year old, does the cord need to be coiled and taped below the pajama top? For a 16 year old is the cord long enough to reach his pajama top?

We noticed that DryBuddyEZ is the only wired alarm that offers a variety of 34” and 44” cord lengths to suit your child’s needs. No other bedwetting alarm in the market offers this feature. That is because DryBuddyEZ is the ONLY full featured bedwetting alarm for a fraction of the price of other bedwetting alarms. Value ofr money!

Unsubstantiated Claim 5 - “The alarm has no on/off switch so that the user cannot turn it off or forget to turn it on before going to sleep. Current drain on the batteries is negligible except when the alarm is sounding.”

What is the current drain on the batteries? Is it thousand times larger than the current drain in my remote control? What is the exact number. We are sure that Malem and the Bedwetting Store have absolutely no idea what this means. Our advice to them: Look and learn before you speak.
Is the current drain within the acceptable range and how soon do the batteries need to be changed? Should the batteries on the Malem Alarm be changed on a daily, weekly or monthly?
We are sure that none of these answers can be provided by anyone in the company as their both Malem Medical and the Bedwetting Store lack engineering and technical skills. They however excel in the deceit skill.

More information on this is available on our article Who’s the engineer that designed the Malem bedwetting Alarm in 1979?”

The Truth: A continuous alarm will drain the batteries within 60 minutes.

If your child takes 15 minutes to wake up the Malem bedwetting alarm, you will need to change the Batteries on the Malem Bedwetting Alarm every 4 days.

Imagine how much you would be spending on batteries itself if you bought a Malem Alarm?
60 Minutes is all you get. Is this alarm really economical? Not in our opinion. A good bedwetting alarm is one in which the batteries last at least the treatment duration.

To truly compare Malem with all relevant competitors in today’s marketplace, look at http://www.urinealarms.com/Wired_Alarm_Chart.html . This is the most comprehensive set of data and facts about bedwetting alarms that we have seen. Malem does not fare well. This explains why Malem and the Bedwetting Store resort to deceit and propaganda to promote the Malem bedwetting alarm!
The Bedwetting Store is the only seller who advertises and continues to sell the Malem Bedwetting Alarm. All other sellers have either realized the truth about the Malem Bedwetting Alarm or have abandoned it, but the Bedwetting Store continues its deceit.
